The Path Of Wisdom
Today, in the world, various religious sects are carrying out various acts of terrorism, all in the name of God. The fact is that they are busy deceiving themselves, for the following reasons:
- The teachings of the religions are different. If they had known the Truth, their teachings would have being the same.
- Their teachings are contradictory. If they had known the Truth, their teachings would have being confirming each other.
- Religions suppose to establish love and peace among humanity. How come that the religions, which suppose to protect humanity, are the very agents of man’s inhumanity to man, destruction, terrorism, rape and slavery?
- The religions teach and uphold freedom of worship, even freedom from worship, whereas God says that all should worship Him in spirit and in truth only.
- Many terrorists claim that God sent them wage jihad against their fellow human beings. So,
a. When did they hear the voice of God directing them to do so?
- When and where did they see God face to face, to receive such wicked and merciless instruction?
- How come that they are busy destroying what God has established for Himself?
- One tribe rises against another. When did God sent the goats to kill the sheep? The horses to destroy the cows? The birds to prey on the fowls? Or, the trees to eradicate the grasses?
- From the parable of the wise and foolish visitors learn many lessons.
Parable Of The Wise And Foolish Visitors
Once upon a time, a saint told his listeners a story, saying, “A very wealthy man once organized a banquet, and invited two of his friends. One was foolish and the other wise.
“When the wise man arrived, he stood at the gate and announced his arrival. Hurriedly, the wealthy man went with his entourage to the gate to bid the wise man welcome and lead him into his house. Then, the wealthy man happily sat down with his friend at the table to dine and wine, amidst joy and merriments.
“But the foolish man came unannounced, and went into the man’s compound, and started behaving foolishly. He took kerosene and poured it into the man’s drums of water. Next, he scooped sands from the ground and poured them into the man’s vessels of oil. Then, he took a big stick, went to the ranch and started beating the cattle to death. So, he continued to destroy the man’s precious wealth.” The audience were very surprised at what the saint was saying.
“What do you think that the man would do such a wicked fool?” the saint asked.
“He will call the security to arrest the foolish man,” a listener said.
“He will order his servants to beat stars out of the foolish man’s head,” another replied.
“He will ask the fool to pay for all the damages,” a third added.
“He will ban the foolish man from entering his house and put him in chains of misery,” concluded the fourth.
“Even so shall God do to all the terrorists and tyrants,” concluded the saint, “who are busy expanding their empires of wickedness. Forever, they shall be cast out into the outer darkness, where all is suffering and gnashing of teeth. Why should the violent be destroying the good works of God, even without hearing from God?”
